Staybridge Suites Milwaukee

I'm working on a grant for the National Institutes of Health that is due early next week. Once that's done, it's full-on preparation for our month-long Journey to India. Daisy is doing her Santa impression (making her list, checking it thrice) and we received 4 new pieces of luggage the other day. <br><br>The airline tickets are booked and now we just have to finalize some domestic trips while on the sub-continent.<br>

Exciting times! One more day before the big trip and we are doing out last minute preparations before we go. There are things to be packed though and that will get done tonight and then a little bit more tomorrow. We have an evening flight so we should be pretty well rested and ready to scout about Copenhagen as soon as we get checked into the hotel.<br><br>Stay tuned for more!<br>

... it would be to pick out one. <br><br>Presently, Wisconsin is very chilly. I feel like it's October, rather than August. The high is in the very low 60's! Today I've just been working around the house, making bread, washing jackets and getting my room clean.<br><br>That's all I got for now, but will write more when I have more!<br>

It was a blessing that Joe and I were awoken at 6:00AM on Sunday morning from jet lag. We decided to slip out and take a walk on the bike path. The sun was just starting to take its place in the sky, a perfect setting to reflect on our trip and to exchange some fun Wisconsin memories.<br><br>We can't believe the trip is over! Anyway thanks to the hospitality of Rob and his friends (well most of them j/k lol rofl), although short-lived, I had a great time in Milwaukee and certainly hope to visit again.

... was great and filled with historical interactive fun. If your in Milwaukee you have to partake in drinking beer and eating cheese and sausage. Stopping at Unsinger's Sausage Factory is a must. This factory has been serving up sausage's for over 100 years and is well worth a visit.The Safe house is another place you can't leave Milwaukee without visiting. ... Not having to worry about IV drips and pain medication. It feels... liberating in a way. Almost like I escaped prison. I have nothing against the people at work, but sometimes it's just better to not see their mugs every night. Some nights I just want to fall asleep to Cat's face and wake up he same way. I don't want to sit around a nurse's station all night eBay'ing for stuff I know I don't need. So Milwaukee is a little slice of Heaven when I look at it that way.

... soon, and I can't to see those who are gonna try to come to the show. And please continue to pray for Chris during his deployment with the Army. So far, we know that he starts his training in Nashville on the 15th, seven days a week. Around Valentine's Day, he will go to New Jersey, probably, for more training. After a few months there, he will be sent to Iraq. Last we heard, to a city near Bagdad. I will keep you updated when I can.

Back home in Milwaukee and now to unpack and catch up on the stuff that needs to be done! And of course, more updates from Danielle and Cindy's adventures in Galway.
