... round a couple of times which was funny thanks to all the one ways in town. You can't drive down state street as its so busy. We then headed towards the capital building. It was going to be a fun look round as it was so windy & rather chilly! We went inside which looked great. Wendy then says we should go up to the observation deck. Me and jenny looking at each other thinking "really" lol. Couldn't see to much through our hair as it was quite windy but good to say ...

... certain, but fortunately, we didn’t kill anyone. I must say, however, it is very strange to see a heavy girl peddling a classic style bike up a hill in the middle of a street filled with traffic.

We settled into our hotel around 4 PM. We were pleased to find that they upgraded us to a suite again today. It is far more comfortable to have this much space, especially being on the road for many days at a time. Thank-you La Quinta. Tomorrow Sturgeon ...

We were in the middle of northern farmland Illinois about 90 minutes from Madison, and proceeded to drive more defensively than we had ever thought possible until we pulled into our Madison hotel. We had every intention of hitting the town in Madison, but a couple glasses of whiskey and a much needed hot tub session had changed our plans (draining our motivation), to just grabbing some burgers and beers at the Great Dane Brewery, near our ...

With finals week finally finished, and only three days to go, I'm getting very excited! I'm running lots of errands in the upcoming days to purchase all of the things I still need before I leave in addition to doing lots of laundry. I hope after purchasing some of my last minute things I need tomorrow I will be able to start packing. I've decided to carry purse that is theft-proof, a backpack as a carry-on, and checking a large suitcase.

... day. That night we headed out with Dylan’s housemate, Perry, to Capitol Hill where a small dinner turned into shots and bar hopping.

We woke up bleary eyed the next morning at 7 am to the most awful screwdrivers (OJ and vodka) prepared by Dylan to prepare us for the day ahead of us. We met up with Tom, Trudy, Uncle Jim, Yvonne, Aunt Terry and Brett’s other cousin, David, at a bar where the University’s band played ...
