Leider ging unser Flug nach Las Vegas von Laredo, Texas aus und nicht von Monterrey...
Deshalb hieß es gleich nach der Präsentation in Intercultural ab ins Taxi und geradeaus zum Busbahnhof. Von dort aus dann mit dem Bus über die Grenze, eine Nacht in nem Motel pennen und dann endlich mit dem Flieger nach Las Vegas.

Hoy hemos realizado una visita rápida a Mexico. A 230Km de San Antonio, se encuentra Laredo (USA) y Nuevo Laredo (Mexico), separados por el famoso Rio Grande. Aparcamos el coche en Laredo y después de una breve visita, cruzamos a pié la frontera, que emoción. A nuestra llegada a Mexico, y depués de pagar 75 centavos, nos encontramos una calle donde allí nos estaban esperando todos los Mejicanos para ofrecernos ...

... rv, waiting for help. . At 7:50 someone came to help change the tire. Papaw cooked dinner in the microwave while we waited. . I lost my tooth while eating a piece of candy. We limped into Laredo and stayed in the walmart parking lot our first night. They came back to finish the tire at 7:45 a.m. the next morning. We walked to burger king for breakfast, then we had to buy 4 more tires.

... to a taxi stand. I hadn't been to Nuevo Laredo in probably around 5 years or so, and I had heard it had become very dangerous. But everything was fine and went very smoothly. After a $5 cab ride to the Bus Station, we got our tickets and waited to board. The bus station was very nice, and the buses are too. After Pato had taken care of his business, we returned to Laguna de Sanchez and to Restaurante El Mirador where we had a meal of puerco en chile colorado and I took photos out of the window of Cerro el Muerto. Leaving Laguna de Sanchez we headed toward Cola de Caballo on NL20 passing the villages of La Cienega, San Juan Bautista, Puerto Genovivo, and Covadonga before turning onto MEX35 at El Cercado and back to Monterrey.
