    Free Shuttle!

    Reviewed Dec 18, 2009

Seems as the hotel is off the main strip, they provide a free shuttle to and from the hotel.
We found this very helpful as we were travelling in a group of 5, which can be difficult finding a maxi taxi.

Location was perfect as we were not planning on hitting the night clubs in the strip, area felt very safe.

... Mexican resistance and executions but we found out later that day that they were treated badly all along.

Next stop on the touristy agenda was the local court house. It was a stunning old white building which seemed too beautiful to actually be used for hearings. Unfortunately the viewing tower was closed when we got there but apparently it has the best view of the city.

After sightseeing we treated ourselves to some shopping ...

The morning saw a late start and head out to breakfast. We were off to the much anticipate Segway tour of old Vegas. Brad, although never having used one before is fascinated by the concept. The only problem is going to be his weight!
Try as he might, he doesn't seem to be putting on any weight (no problem for moi)..
When Dean and I took them for a spin on our trip, the operators were quite strict on the minimum weight requirement... 45Kg, Brad has been ...

... It really is a great atmosphere with people chatting and taking each other’s photos knowing that they can’t capture the feeling of this view. We were told on more than one occasion the Canyon was not the place for selfies (lol). This is was we met Steve, Kathy and Marcus from Seattle. We got to talking after being able to take photos for each other. They gave us some tips for things to see in Seattle when we are up there and we may be even be able to catch up when we ...
