Day 1 - Take Off
At the airport we ate Maccers walked for 40 minutes until we boarded the plane. I can't wait till we get on the plane.
Now we are going to the gate.
Now we get on the plane. There are lots of seats. Lots of TVs at the back of the chairs.
The plane …
Never seen so many alligators in one place. Boys had tons of fun. Ethan insist on buying a gator tooth necklace.
... There was very low lighting and kitsch 50’s sci-fi movies playing on the big screen. Very impressive. The food wasn’t bad, either. However, the Disney places are not all that diverse in food choices generally and the menus features burgers and fries consistently. We did not know about the Disney dining plan and found many of the dining places pricey in all parks.
After lunch, we headed over to the ...
... whilst immersed in a mixture of animatronics and 3D effects. It was so good we went straight back on and tried it from all the angles possible! I will admit that I did have my eyes closed at one point when the spiders descended! This was one of our favourite new rides of the holiday. Next up we headed for what used to be duelling dragons to try out the slightly modified Tri Wizard Dragon Challenge ride. Everything was exactly the same as before for those of who you have been on ...
... see the DINOSAUR attraction due to lack of time.
We were able to take some pictures of the dinosaurs - some of them with us in them.
After the park closed, we headed back to our resort for some supper.
We also checked out the video arcade.
All in all, we had a great day. We were all tired though at the end of the day - which is what you want when you visit Walt Disney World.

Historical Traveler Reviews Staybridge Suites Lake Buena Vista Orlando
We stayed 7 nights at Staybridge Suites, Lake Buena Vista, prepaying to get a decent rate. In addition to my husband and myself we had our thee teenaged sons, all tall.
This place is GREAT!
This place was great. We had plenty of room. A TV in each room was the best. The bus transportation was better than I thought it would be. In all this was best off site place that I have stayed at. I just made another ressie for May,2004. In all GREAT place to stay.
Room was good size for my family of four, kids had their own room and bathroomThe beds were some of the best I have had when traveling.Kitchen was great had evrything we needed. Walking distance to downtown disney. The pool area was wonderful although the water was ice cold in the adult pool the kids pool was very warm, the hot tub was awesome. The morning breakfest was great just enough to start the day.The rooms were cleaned everyday. The staff was very helpful also.
Very good location with a great choices if you wanted to eat out.For the price I thought it was a great deal and would stay again.
9 great days at the Staybridge Suites LBV
We just returned from a 9-day stay at the Staybridge Suites in LBV. We had a wonderful time. The amenities at this hotel are above average.
The rooms are of good size, the furniture and relatively good condition, and the kitchen is like something you would have at home.
The bathroom is less than ideal with the sink and countertop at one end of your bedroom and the toilet / tub in a separate closed room. The location of the hotel is excellent, only minutes away from all of the major theme parks and also only minutes away from all of the outlet malls and regular malls. The best part of the hotel is its service and the wonderful courtyard with a super clean pool and hot tub. I would strongly consider returning here for another stay in Orlando.
It worked great for us
We just returned from the Staybridge suites LBV. My husband and I went there with my parents for a short time away to get out of the gloomy Mn. weather. The suite worked out perfect for us. The layout was great, as everyone else has pointed out in the reviews. The breakfast was fine. The last day I had a omelet for 3.50. It was worth it. Pool area was nice. It was real nice being there off season. No crowds to deal with. The free shuttle to the parks worked out great. We only spent three nights there but I would recommend it. The price was resonable as well. We are taking our nieces and nephews there in two years and thinking about staying there if we don't stay right on a Disney property. There are so many places to stay out there its hard to make a decision. Just do it.
Would definitely return!!!
This was our first family vacation to Disney World. The Summerfield Suites were conveniently located close to all theme parks, restaurants, shopping etc. We had the 2 bedroom trio suite, complete with full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Laundry facilities also available for a minimal fee in the courtyard. The suite was comfortable and clean. Overall, the hotel was lovely. Basic continental breakfast each morning, which we ate outside in the courtyard, was offered and the hotel guest services were very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a reasonably priced comfortable hotel. We look forward to returning!!!
we just got back from florida, stayed at the summerfield from 7/8 to 7/15. For the price of 115 military rate i do not think i could have done better. With two older daughters the two bathrooms were a godsend and a son who is 11 the second bedroom was great, the living room area was a bit small but we managed. The kitchen was full not that i cooked but it was great to have a full size frig. and all the utensils, something that i did not seem to find anywhere else so close to all the disney attractions.Took the shuttle one day very nice bus, but if you want to come and go as you please its worth it to take your own car.
I made my reservation at Wyndham website, with a PREPAID web rate (US$69 per night). I arrived at the hotel at 10:30PM under a storm after driving for 4 hours and the lady at the front desk (Nadine) told me that the hotel was booked for the night and that she would send me to another Summerfield hotel 5 miles from there and whatever I had paid would be used to pay the other hotel that, by the way, was US$150 per night! After calling reservations (1800- 833-4353) I got my money back and left the hotel. After this, I promise never to stay in another Wyndham hotel and I'm working on reporting this incident to all Better Bussiness Bureau available and all the websites that make reservations for Wyndham. It's unbealivable that I had to search for a hotel at 11PM on a raint night after prepaid a room a week before!! This is lousy business!
Where do I start?! Still here, trying to survice a 5-day "Funtacular" package offered (exclusively!?!) to Wynham By Request members. Think I'm paying more that John Doe off the street. Our room was NOT available at check-in at 3pm on Sunday 4/13. Room has buckled carpeting, a wall clock with one hand. We're on the third floor with 3 children and there are no elevators. The other day, our room was not cleaned until 4:30 -- and then only after we complained. On our second night, a man knocked on our door at 11:23 pm with dressed in a blue shirt, blue pants and a Puma baseball cap with a sheet in his hand telling us he was there with the sheet we requested! Never announced himself or anything. My daughter's pillow she brought from home with a discontinued Laura Ashley pillow case was taken by Housekeeping and we haven't seen it since. DON'T STAY HERE! I've travelled plenty and stayed in Orlando many times. This is one of the worst expiences.
Good for the price
stayed for 2 nights april 1,2nd 2003. the room was a bit small but the separate bedroom was perfect for our 4 year old. staff very friendly except the folks who sell the "disney etc packages" they were very pushy. the rooms that face the pool are the best as it is heated and quite nice. try and get 1st or 2nd floor as there are no elevators. very centrally located down the block from disney and within 100 different kinds of restaurants. we paid 99 a night which was a good deal especially w/ free continental breakfast. would stay there again
