    ... were happy to be able to chill in the car so early in the morning. We headed to Hot Springs and arrived bright and early. After breakfast we explored Hot Springs National Park. The boys loved the brief hike we took and thought that the old bath house was really cool.

    ... And, of course, with the coupon we had, we were able to get 10% off, and a complementary brownie and ice cream dessert.
    In the morning we are off to Eureka Springs, by way of Arkansas Scenic Route 7. Looking forward to some great scenery, and maybe a little cave exploration along the way.

    ... steep. Maybe getting a little too old for this, but it was sure great fun! We also got a coupon for a buy one, get one half-off at the local Italian restaurant Bella Arti from our innkeeper. The food was excellent! Jody had eggplant Parmesan and I had shrimp fra diavolo. Both entrees were better than any we have had in Orlando, but I'm not sure that's saying much.

    After leaving Memphis in the afternoon we stopped in the small town of Hot Springs, Arkansas. The area is home to 47 natural hot springs, many of which have been made into water fountains or free taps. The city has a long history of bathing houses due to its hot springs.     ... lying there. ****! I ride all day in crazy conditions with no problems and now this?! Parked at a chili fest I never should have been at and nailed by a big ass truck. Wacky.

    At least the guy stuck around and took responsibility. Props for doing the right thing after doing the wrong thing. So now I have to find a BMW Motorrad dealer and get this fixed. As Neil Peart said, mustn't grumble, life is still pretty damn good.
