... in the soft here-is-another-thing-you-do–not- need way. The bracelet is 925 silver. 925! That is the same silver that all of my Tiffany jewelry is made of…at a fraction of the price….I mean how could I pass it up? (Apparently I couldn’t)
A fancy box of Cubans
So…my husband is a cigar smoker. I thought that it would be cool to get him a few Cubans. I know they are illegal and so that made it even more exciting to ...
... at the alarm sure was comforting though.
Now I'm off to Houston before my long flight to Tokyo. I can't believe I'm actually going to backpack SE Asia. Doesn't really seem real yet, nor has it fully hit me that I will be far outside my comfort zone. But thats what traveling is all about right? Learning something new about a new culture and about ourselves?
Flew into Phoenix to be met by kev`s aunt and uncle and from day one we were spoiedl rotten! what great Hosts they were, we ventured to see a real cowboy mining town and stopped kev from buying a pint sized hat, everywhere very dry and dusty but on the upside loads of cacti to spread the sap on our mozzie bites!!! had a real chille3d couple of ...
Phoenix, Arizona, United States kevsharonEach team member has fifty pounds of medical equipment and medicines, including some over the counter meds, to take along with personal belongings to work in clinic each day and deal with the very cool temperatures (at least for zonies). I've packed and repacked four times trying to get it all under the weight and size restrictions for both airlines and enable me to handle it all on my own as we set up clinic and travel to a new location daily.

Much of her talk centered on women's concerns such as jewelry and dresses, but she did a good job describing other aspects of the tribe’s cultural practices and history as well.

... at about 2:15pm and had already reached cooler temperatures just to the north of Black Canyon City at about 3:00pm. This made things a little more bearable as the Air Conditioning does not work in the Land Cruiser. I am fairly use to not having A/C, but Jami was suffering. Combine the no A/C and the myriad of G's weather updates she was receiving via text... Well, I'm sure you get where I was going with her mood. The ...
Glendale, Arizona, United States cantinero... have to get to my own city and get an apartment. I'm sure I couldn't have her in the hostel or hotel with me, so this buys me some time to get a place before she comes to join me. But as I look at her, all content on the pile of pillows, and think of how she'll looking coming out of quarantine (hair both oily and dandruffy, and her sad, slinky, super depressed, "mommy I need your lap now" disposition) I have to laugh. Oh, if only she new ...
Gilbert, Arizona, United States splashofjoy... We arrived at Tucson late in the day, and went straight for a walk in the national park. I was absolutely knackered but the scenery more than made up for the effort. We even saw a roadrunner, but he wasn't very fast, and he didn't go beep-beep. It occurred to both of us that, although we came from completely different places - me from rural Wiltshire, she from the Wild West - we were very similar people. That always amazes me about traveling, that you can have more in ...

We will be visiting multi-national corporations with operations in those locations as well as local businesses. Always fascinated by other cultures, I look forward to peeking inside these cultures and gaining a glimpse of local business practices. I look forward to seeing everybody in about three weeks, in the meantime, stay tuned ...
