... Louis to Memphis showed us that the Midwest is really that flat and really does go on for that long ( fall asleep passing one big field and wake up six hours later and you’d swear you were passing the same one). We loved shedding our thermals around then, slightly less when the storms and tornado came.

Finally, the long awaited Springbreak update has come! I have been back in Boston for two weeks already and have meanwhile celebrated Sint Patrick's Day and taken Zumba dance classes, but that does not make my Florida memories any less vivid and beautiful.

... cart so Leslie would not have to walk. Unfortunately, that was not a cart for the general public. After a short discussion with the driver, the cart went on its way. Much to my surprise, in about a minute, the driver returned and picked up Leslie. Since it was only a two-seater, I had to walk.

When I arrived at D-33 I found Leslie standing there with what looked like 1,000 people. All of the chairs were full, so there ...

And we're off! D-Day has arrived and the adventure is on. First stop? Somewhere on the west coast of Florida. We are going to mosey our way towards Minneapolis which is our first major stop - need a grandson fix (OK, it's true, we need a Son #2 and daughter-in-law fix too). There are a handful of states that ...
