    ... land in terms of eating places. Internet searches required and we may have to drive to find something. I much prefer travelling out in the country away from the big cities.

    Went to dinner at Denny's which we found by accident. Will look for somewhere else tomorrow.

    Have just completed a Wes night driving and foot tour of Washington DC. Stopped at some of the sights. Quite lovely with a full moon. It was great to see the monuments ...

    ... went to the Albert Einstein Planetarium at the museum and saw a show on the creation of the planets and stars narrated by Woppie Golberg. After the show we stopped at the gift shop for astronaut ice cream (tasted like cardboard but Sam liked it).     ... all the boring stuff we packed up the trailer which attached to a mini bus kinda thing which will be our transport for the next 35 days at least.     Woke up early but had a slow start as we knew all the museums were shut. We started at the White House which they rapidly shut the path as we got there, assume an important guest was turning up!
