Woke up early and headed down to the impressive church towards the center of the old part of Reykjavik. This morning we had two lectures, one by the Navy Department's official historian on naval operations on D-day and then a current professor/ former FBI intelligence officer on counter-intelligence and deception operations before and during D-Day. After Dinner, we went on our illumination-tour. So we went to see Abraham Lincoln memorial, Gerge Washington monument, Franklin Roosevelt monument, Vietnam Veterans memorial, Iwo Jima memorial and US Capitol. It does look all really nice at night time! ,)

... the extravagant Capitol Building and Congress. It is very ornate, however the Americans are still able to disney land the tour experience. Incredible architecture, sculptures, art and history. It is massive, and even has its own private Metro rail and coded light intercom system. I would love to see the top of the dome. Each state gets 3 statues of famous heroes to put through the building. I also headed over to the Library of Congress, incredibly stunning and ornate building. ...
... I finally find myself a pint of bitter as well, and down a few Boddingtons during the game. Seeing as Hernandez is playing for Mexico, I am routing for them!
