The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. ... property no longer exist but the 2 pine trees he planted along the road frontage are huge and stand side by side with other large trees. the grounds are beautifully maintained with lots of trees dotted throughout the well kept lawns. ... couldn't even get out of the stadium until I had to go back. So I left when it was 2 minutes left of the second period. It was a good game, despite all snow and breaks to get snow off the ice. And it was amazing to see all this people, a new world record, 105 491 people watching the game. Which is the biggest crowd ever watching a game of hockey. The game ended 2-2, but after a shoot out the Leafs left as winners. It took some time to get out of there after the game. But ...

The traffic was typical Friday rush hour . . . on the portion of I-75 . . . Monroe to Detroit . . . lots and lots of trucks . . . and lots of nuts rushing to work . . . or their death . . . or both . . . with fate the chooser!! Traffic was light at the Ambassador Bridge . . . . There were only two car lanes open to clear Immigration/Customs for Canada . . . and we selected the shortest AND slowest line!! It never fails!!
