After a rather interesting breakfast we headed out to the Henry Ford Museum - which is much more than just a car museum. There were trains, planes, of course automobiles. Furniture, farm machinery, women's rights, civil war info - I can see why they say it takes a day to complete - it's huge. After a few hours walking around we'd seen pretty much all we wanted to. ... and now fully awake, sleep will evade me for some time yet again and so to read myself back to sleep grateful that light will not disturb my Jon.So in the morning I ask Margie who tells me it was a severe storm warning (lightening, hail, damaging winds) and indeed there were leaves and twigs on the lawn and a very large gazebo/canopy over the back patio blew several meters and flipped right upside down. It required 5 adults to right it.
