    Today we were up early and had a full day in Washington, D.C. We meet all our tour in the lobby and headed out for our morning city tour. Our first stop was Arlington cemetery where JFK was laid to rest.     We made it. This place is pretty cool. We only did about a third of what's here and we will have to come back. This gorge has been created over hundreds of years of erosion and is really worth the time. Need to plan for a full to 3/4 day to take all this in.

    Departing Gouverneur I had only two real plans in mind for Thursday...

    I had to go to the Waterloo DFO centre to get some more Reeboks. And I wanted to catch up with Charlene, a woman I'd met in Sydney in 2003. When we met and she said she was from the Fingerlakes district I told her that if I ever went to the US I would be going to Watkins Glen and when I did I would look her up.
