Scheduled for departure on 8/8/14 and this time we're off to Prague to begin our first visit to the more eastern reaches of Europe.

Once everything was packed, Alex and I set out to wander the Warbird area. On the way, we passed some of the planes who were competing for the Lindbergh awards, given for the best workmanship. The people competing for these produce not only beautiful planes, but exhibits, posters, and displays to highlight just how good their planes and workmanship really are.

... conditioning. I was able to pick the bike all loaded up back up by myself. The heaviest thing I've lifted has been 100 lbs. In particular, I've been doing the Simple and Sinister workout by Pavel Tsatsuline. This regime was excellent prep for having the core strength to be on the bike for 8-10 hours a day for days on end. Not to mention the agility, legs, etc to scramble around on the Tablelands.
