... have baked me chocolate chip cookies to send with me when I go and they have made my entire trip ten times better. (Thanks everyone!) I was driving down the road, it finally stopped raining, and was enjoying my new Tom Petty CD at top volume. It was a great drive today. I loved driving along, headed west, watching the corn fields get more and more frequent on the side of the highways. Soon it was mostly corn fields, which I find very relaxing ...

... the pictures, so I won't list the items here. What was not on the menu but something they are famous for was the onion rings which kept coming on plates as long as we all wanted to keep eating them. They were wonderful to say the least and I ate so many that I couldn't eat my whole entrée.
There is a wonderful small repertory theatre in this little town and we were treated to a great play entitled "Big River". Some of you may ...

... of Bruiser and they have been running around the house like crazy folks!
Hopefully the pictures can be downloaded successfully from my phone, especially the ones showing the damage. I learned last night that when TravelPod tells me to title a picture, it really means to write a caption before putting on the blog because the actual captions I wrote never showed up in the finished product.
Enjoy reading and please continue to wish us safe travels.
