    I finally started my trip today. Heather was nice enough to come pick me up at 7:30 in the morning. I managed to pack 6 weeks in one suitcase (which weighed in at just over the limit, but fortunately they let it slide...) and one carry-on shoulder bag. I'm sure I forgot many, many things, but I did manage to fit my own hairdryer, only 2 pairs of heels, and enough full-size toiletries to last ...

    ... night and when I was pumping my tyre in Walmart it blew the lights!     We had a cleansing ale, and Prosecco to finish off our dinner and made our way back to the hotel. It was such an unexpected afternoon but we think it’s been one of the best on our trip.

    I'll leave you with 'Tyler's Blues' a song by Shane Smith from the album we bought today. It's an acoustic live version so it's a bit noisy and not so polished but hope you still enjoy.
