I finally started my trip today. Heather was nice enough to come pick me up at 7:30 in the morning. I managed to pack 6 weeks in one suitcase (which weighed in at just over the limit, but fortunately they let it slide...) and one carry-on shoulder bag. I'm sure I forgot many, many things, but I did manage to fit my own hairdryer, only 2 pairs of heels, and enough full-size toiletries to last ...
