      ... and there was still some 'precipitation', so on with the 'plastic bags'! We got our 'front of line' passes and we were off! Our first ride was the New Despicable Me Minion Mayhem Ride, where we were 'turned into minions' and given training by 'the girls'. This was a very clever simulated ride and so cute with all the minions!

      Next we did The Simpson's Ride. This one you waited in one queue and then you were moved along ...

      ... parade about sunset and then a firework show about an hour later. The California Adventure park has a light show after dark that takes place over a big lake - basically the lake becomes a huge fountain and images are projected onto water. The sound system and music are amazing and it is a show that's worth waiting for. In December the Disney Parks change most of their attractions to reflect a holiday theme, so it's different and people come back just to experience Christmas at ...

If we could just get the boys to synchronise their pee visits, and stop Sam from peeing every 5 minutes, we'd all be better for it!! :-) We finished off the day by riding the monorail from Tomorrowland out to the Downtown Disney area, put our names down at ESPN Zone for some tea and afterwards went upstairs to do some "Timezone" type gaming.       ... on time in LA, where I navigated my way through like one of the busiest airports in the world! It was ridiculous, and i got slightly lost because signage was pretty poor, but I managed to walk to the right terminal, (there's only 7 of them!) and then go through security again! I bought my last Starbucks, and waited to board the plane again for the long haul home.
