After 30+ years of waiting to see these two attractions, I (TL) FINALLY made it. Tina had been there before back in her high-school days, but we were all excited to get our "where the wind blows us" adventures started here. Sherry, who met us in LAX, also had never been. ... a few miles into it when we stopped to look at the view. We made an executive decision that (a) the Camaro is a car designed for open highways not windy roads, and (b) that we were tired and hungry and needed to get back so we turned around and took the faster route home. Slightly disappointing in some ways, but we can say we drove on Mulholland now even if not the full length.
We cruised back home......and finally ate dinner at about 830pm - well late!

off to the final fireworks show tonight. Last night we went to see the world of colour show. That was amazing. Deano even had a tear in his eye...
