After 30+ years of waiting to see these two attractions, I (TL) FINALLY made it. Tina had been there before back in her high-school days, but we were all excited to get our "where the wind blows us" adventures started here. Sherry, who met us in LAX, also had never been. Her arrival was also a surprise for the girls, which worked out great. [* …

The kids did a bit of shopping (or looking) and then we decided that we should start to make our way back to our hotel. By the time we got back to the shuttle we had spent about 11 hours at the park for the day, think we got our moneys worth. Although I have already decided we won't be back tomorrow - I need a rest!!

... was to finish off our long but fun day at DCA. Though we'd fast passed this attraction and had a spot three tiers from the edge of Paradise Bay where the show took place, it was a struggle to find a spot where we two short-ish ones could see. It was a 45 minute wait till it started and I can't remember how we passed the time. Mostly staring into space and trying to stay awake I think! We'd also heard great things about World of Colour and the tens of thousands ...
