I've never been to BC so I'm super excited. We're spending a few days in Kelowna and then a night in Vancouver before making our dreaded border crossing on Thursday or Friday!!!! AHHH! ... as a kid I had no concept of time or space. I had no idea what was happening or where this new place was we were going. We got on a plane, my first plane ride ever. Everything was fresh and exciting for me, my dad on the other hand...not so much.

... Eoin decided that we should go a hike up Grotto Mountain at the back of the hostel. It was sooo steep! 3 hours later we were sitting on a ridge taking in a completely different 360 view of the Rockies. We weren't at the top, but we felt we'd gone far enough in our sandals. Its 5 a.m. and we're up to catch the airport bus to Halifax Airport at 6a.m. There's no breakfast available and we stumble out onto the street to join the early morning people going to work.
