    We were up at 6:30a.m. and left the hotel before 8:00a.m. We made it to Toledo by 5:00. We were in our driveway before 6:00p.m. after a trip to the grocery store. All animals are alive, well, and happy to see us! Now the fun part of cleaning out the car:(

    Yes, we would leave tomorrow and do it all over again if we could! There were a few meltdowns along the way, but the laughter and experiences far exceeded the not-so-fun times.

    ... Today we went the Cabela's store in Dundee, which looks more like a tourist attraction than a retail, outdoors-sports equipment outfitter. That's a mouthful!

    ... from the mishap at the interchange. The automated machine called out to him to "please insert ticket" (he had to actually put the RV in park and get out because the car access slots were too low and the semi access slots were too high). Valiantly he tried over and over to insert the ticket in the "cash" slot while it called out to him to "please insert ticket" and all of us, me loudest, were shouting "up, up, up, the slot ...
