Historical Traveler Reviews of Staybridge Suites Chattanooga
Great hotel
from familygirll
My family and I spent a relaxing weekend at the Staybridge Suites. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They were very informative. The breakfast is wonderful as well. The room was not quite as spacious as I expected. However, it was clean and comfortable, and we could not here our next door guests. The only downfall is that the toliets are not industrial so they are easy to overuse. The manager was helpful and fixed our problem promptly. We were very well pleased and would gladly return. They also have a quaint lobby with a reading area and DVD rentals. This hotel is kid and pet friendly. The shuttle is 2 blocks away.

Terrific Place To Stay!

What a nice place! The suite was first-rate as well as the staff. Breakfast is good but they really need more space and more waffle stations. Convenient to everything without being in the middle of the noise and crowds. We even had a balcony! Also visit the Mt Vernon Restaurant at the foot of Lookout Mtn - best fried chicken in the state!
We loved this hotel!

We stayed in this hotel for two nights over Labor Day weekend and were so pleased with everything! We had a one bedroom suite (perfect for traveling with two small children) and I was really impressed by the quality of the room. The bathroom vanity was granite(!) and the counter height was higher than most bathroom counters (which is much more comfortable). There was ceramic tile on the bathroom and kitchen floors, which made the rooms feel more like home. The kitchen had new appliances, the beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were a nice cream color (makes you feel more at home than stark white linens). The room had two TV's and a DVD player, too. The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed the free breakfast buffet (it was an actual buffet, not just a continental breakfast).
The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, a "great" room for hanging out and reading, a computer room where you can get online or check e-mail and a kids' room with puzzles, books, videos, etc. There was free parking and we only had to drive about a mile to get to the local atttractions (aquarium, Children's Museum, restaurants, etc.).
I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if traveling with children. All the rooms are suites which means you don't have to go to bed when your kids do!! I feel like we got so much for our money, and we will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is truly a great find. It is well near everything dowtown and the rooms are neatly kept and clean. THe breakfast was great and the parking is also very organized. I would definetly stay there again. The electric shuttle is a block away where it takes you anywhere you would like to downtown. For the price and the quality it is your best bet. Ask the staff for recommendations on restaurants, we did and got 10 percent of our meal!
Very nice!

Very convenient to major attractions, comfortable, staff very helpful and polite. Advice: 1. Be sure to bring food for the fridge...no stores nearby. Coming North from Atlanta there's a Super Wal-Mart adjacent to the interstate near Dalton. That is the last grocery store with convenient hours you will see. 2. Believe it or not, the NASCAR show is the best at Imax. The nature stuff is almost nothing but environmentalist propaganda wrapped in dramatic cinematography....I found that most disturbing and had to sit down with my grandson afterwards and explain how evidence and opinion relate to each other.
The Staybridge Suites was perfect!

This hotel was close to perfect in every way! The staff was fantastic and the rooms were spacious and handsomely decorated. Our two bedroom suite was like an apartment. My children loved having 3 TV's! We will definitely return to this hotel! We stayed for a week and my teenager loved going downstairs to the library to communicate with friends on-line. My husband liked having high speed internet service in our room. I loved the peace and quiet of having my own room and also the breakfast downstairs each morning. The laundry room was beside the pool and it was nice to be able to do a little laundry while at the pool. The hotel seemed very safe. Having a kitchen to store snacks was great. This hotel had everything you needed away from home.

I thought that the Staybridge Suites was a great family hotel. The staff was very pleasant and extremely friendly. We checked in for the 4th of July weekend with our kids. They loved the idea of the in room DVD player and the swimming pool and jacuzzi. They also enjoyed being able to chat with their friends online while vacationing...that was really cool. We had three enjoyable days at Staybride with no problems at all. The rooms were very clean and the staff attended to our every need, and what I enjoyed most is that after a long day of walking and walking and walking all over the place, from the aquarium to rock city, etc....It was nice to come back to a room that was clean and QUITE. Keep up the good work.
Very pleasant stay

I needed a last minute inexpensive, safe and nice place for my son and I to stay one night in downtown Chattanooga. We were going down to move my college age daughter back home from school.
After trying Priceline with no success, I discovered the Staybridge Suites. They had a Studio Suite available for $81.75 plus tax.
The hotel was easy to find, not far from the hustle and bustle of downtown (but not within walking distance.)
Upon check-in, I was greeted by a friendly staff and told about the hotel's complimentary breakfast (which was nice.)
We were impressed with the large sized room and contemporary furnishings. There was a double/queen sized bed and a pull out sofa bed. Both beds had double sheeted blankets. There was a sink area with closet and a separate tub/commode area. Also included in the suite was a small kitchen area, an armoire with TV/DVD player and an internet hookup station.
We were given a view of the parking lot and side courtyard. I happened to like this so that I could keep an eye on my car. The parking lot was gated, as were the hotel entrances...very safe!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay there during future visits to see our daughter at UTC, just up the street.
Magnificent!

From the moment of check in till we checked out (a sad day), everything was done in excellence. The staff were very helpful, professional and made you feel like you were at home. They had every ammenity a family could need. The rooms were a nice size and the kids and my husband loved the 2 tv's as well as the dvd player. I also thought it was a wonderful touch that they allowed us to wash and dry our clothes for free during our stay. The only thing I would change is, they need to have more than 1 waffle iron in their breakfast area because of the number of guest who stay there it would make the line go quicker. I would recommend this hotel to ALL FAMILIES!! It is clean, wonderful facilities and staff and it is close to the interstate and all attractions. This will be the hotel of our choice every year from now on in Chattanooga. GREAT JOB STAYBRIDGE!!!
