That evening Susan’s twin sister, who lives across the street, came over for a BBQ dinner of steak, habanero, and mushroom sauce. Sundays Country Roland Jr. plays there along with 3 other Hispanic bros’, one
of who is Ruben who plays lead guitar. These guys are all in their late 50’s,
and I believe I am being kind when I say that. Anyway, Roland has a great voice
and he belts out his tunes and the band plays along, one great country tune
after another, both old and new, and in English, Spanglish and lovely Spanish.

As the second show was seconds into starting, the cold front hit. It hit so abruptly that one second I was comfortable and warm without a coat and the next second I was shivering. I had to call John to bring my winter coat when he came to the front gates for intermission. The rest of the show had people running to their cars for blankets and coats so they could stay warm.
