Staybridge Suites Brownsville

Meghan and I were able to shoot the 300 Mag. in this afternoon. We were not able to find and Elk life size target for practice, but had to settle for this Whitetail Deer. She shot this target and scored in the Harvest Zone from 100, 200, 250 &amp; 300 Yards.<br>All we need now is the Elk to walk out in front of her once we are hunting.

... with my little girl, and hopefully we will have some <br>life long memories. I hope my Iphone works while we are hunting the Routt National Forest.<br>Up to date hunting and trip photos would be nice for everyone to enjoy. I will keep everyone posted.<br><br>

Hello All. We have really enjoyed our stay in Brownsville, TX to visit Jerry's parents. We don't see them often and it is always bittersweet when the visit nears an end.<br><br>We went out for a casual dinner with the parents and Jerry's brother, Juan, and wife Vivian. Then it was back to the hotel to begin packing up our belongings.

The day has finally arrived. Mille and I are not sure how to feel knowing what we are getting ourselves into in the natural, but the conclusion I've come to is this:<br>I'd rather be in the will of God.<br>I'm not sure if this is even really happening, and we don't even have "specific" direction! At first we thought there must be a truck of chickens ahead of us but it was snow flurries!! The snow was flying horizontally and it wasn't enough to stick, at least not right then. ... on into Mexico for the rest of the winter. However, we landed up staying at Winter Haven for about 7 weeks, from just before Thanksgiving to just after New Year's. It was a good time, the weather was great and we enjoyed seeing, and doing things with, a lot of people who we knew from the year before. I, in particular, also enjoying spending the Holidays there, in the USA, and in one place, rather than changing locations frequently, as we planned to do in Mexico.

This evening at dinner we encountered what may be the best nachos ever at The Watering Hole, but to our dismay, were refused beers on account of our out-of-town licenses?

... for our first hot shower in months. What a treat. We both scrubbed and scrubbed. The deal with cold showers is that you make them as quick as possible, basically freshening up without any prolonged washing. So it was nice to finally be squeaky clean again. The Casa Rodante also got a bath as it was filthy with road dust and the chemical sprays with which it was doused at the border crossings. We also walked across the street to the mall and walked through Wal-Mart and Sears. What struck ...

... 19 net, so things like this carry weight when you&#8217;re on a budget. Greyhound&#8217;s not especially costly, but long and slow. This is the age of hitch-hiking, too, back when you&#8217;d 'go hitch-hiking&#8217; just for fun, but a cheap flight once in a while is a luxury.
