That evening Susan’s twin sister, who lives across the street, came over for a BBQ dinner of steak, habanero, and mushroom sauce. We sat outside on the back patio and watched the sunset, followed by fireflies dancing in the bushes. I hadn’t seen fireflies for years, probably since I left Georgia in 2003. They are such incredible little creatures, punctuating the night sky with points of yellow-green light emanating from their glowing bottoms. There are ...

who must have confused the sign at the front of the park to a Tim Horton’s. It
was great fun with and for us who still remain, or are afraid to venture ...

screwed up, there I go blaming myself again, I am told I have been ejected and
I have to call in. There begins a humbling experience for an old man.

All right, who comes up with these questions, some 20 year
old something that graduated with a Bugger All, and spends his or her days
punching keys on her cel phone and relating all of her sexual experiences on Facebook?
Common, what was your mother’s ...

... to see the effect we have on people.

As the second show was seconds into starting, the cold front hit. It hit so abruptly that one second I was comfortable and warm without a coat and the next second I was shivering. I had to call John to bring my winter coat when he came to the front gates for intermission. The rest of the show had people running to their cars for blankets and coats so they could stay warm.

      Word spread around ...
