Left New Orleans heading to Pensacola. First stop was at Bellengrath Gardens in Theodore. The gardens were beautiful and the house was very impressive. I still didn't see an alligator but did see a large Gar in the bayou. We had lunch in the cafe and most people went and put their bathers on for the beach. I will give 2 hours at the beach a miss. ... It was an awesome decision. We got front row seats at the practice field. There was no comparison with the week before. We were entertained by a volunteer senior telling us what the planes were going to do next and some of the back stories of the crew. And, our mouths hung open at the maneuvers! And, this was just practice! No wonder their shows are highly attended and anticipated. They are AWESOME.

... The kangaroo encounter was a free for all. The kangaroos were very active and didn't really want to have anything to do with the humans that kept chasing them. The lemur's however were adorable. They remind me of a cross between a cat and a monkey. They were really loveable and didn't mind sitting in a stranger's lap for a photo. Some even wanted to take their ...
