Only 37 Hours to Colorado Springs

A little more than 90 minutes after boarding, we landed at the Colorado Springs Airport. Unfortunately, we sat on the taxiway for nearly 30 minutes, waiting to taxi to our gate. There was construction underway at the airport. Because of ...

... and behold, once off the exit they started popping up and seemed to be endless! We quickly parked and raced into the field where they were launching from (some of us faster than others). We were enthralled at how they lay on the ground, until puffed with enough hot air to rise, quickly fill up with people, and take off. With the lake and mountains as a backdrop, it could not have been a more beautiful ...
