The Econo Lodge was okay. Our room actually had a view of Pike's Peak and we watched the fire a bit more. It was sad to think of all the destruction but at this point no homes had burned and our friends were not even under pre-evacuation orders so the full impact of what was happening hadn't hit us yet.
