... It was really cold but we saw some squirrels. We came back had some leftovers for lunch and drove to the lake to do some ice fishing. We walked out on the ice, being careful not to slip. Then we sat on a bucket while Chris or Dad drilled holes in the ice in front of us. We set up our rods and fished. Every child was able to catch at least one ...
We woke up and went upstairs to have some really nice pancakes for breakfast. Then Dad, Chris and I went to Jax and then the lab. Jax was a outdoors store which sold fishing gear and bait which is what we needed to get. Near the car park there was a field where there were heaps of really cute prairie dogs digging holes on the ground and wagging their little tails. We'd, of course, go back to the Moab parks, but mostly we'd just soak in the red cliffs. Once again, the Grand Junction ...

After dinner Zach and I went over to hang out at Denise’s house for a few hours so I could spend some more time with her before we left. We sat in her backyard drinking nice wine while all the kids played happily on the trampoline for what felt like hours. I got to know her new boyfriend a bit better as well which was great too. We are looking forward to coming back to Denver again in early August.
