It's official. Munich is my favorite German city. We arrived yesterday afternoon/evening after a fairly decent bus ride. ... train had mechanical problems and they brought in a whole new one with a new train number. Thank goodness for nice people offering to help or else we never would have gotten on that train. Fast forward another 3 hours and we arrive in Munich and our hostel is about a 2 min walk from the train station. Threw our bags down and headed off to look at all the architecture on their buildings. We walked to ...

... guy from Kuwait who was there with his wife. The Dryers were € 1 for 10 minutes, and it took three cycles to get the clothes reasonably dry, but I suppose that’s not much different than at home.

I took a different route back to the hotel and passed an Italian restaurant with pizza by the slice. I dropped the laundry at the hotel and went back there for lunch. The guy behind the counter said that he was from Calabria, which was interesting.
