So just as an aside, the Qantas flight that the helpful Jetstar Call Centre idiot told us was leaving 30 minutes later, actually left 9 hours and 30 minutes later. That totaled almost 13 hours at the Airport!

Ever seen the Tom Hanks/Catherine Zeta-Jones movie "The Terminal"... watch it, that's us. Wandering the airport duty free and …

Tuesday morning arrived very early after months of planning we were off to the airport for our
6:45 am flight, Many thanks to Chuck Kelley who gave us a ride to the airport by picking us up
at 4:45 am, ( and of course as it his his nature he was early) and had to listen to the Watumull's
bicker and be cranky with each other all the way to the airport. Hey some of my other friends you should be taking notes on giving me rides to and from the airport at ...

Did they douse this thing in red crayola paint I wondered? It looked strange, inedible, and quite artificial. But ehh, it sufficed. YOLO!

I was sweaty, a tad irritable, and dying to submerge my phalanges in h2o. It was a bit of a walk but I was so dumb founded by Waimea Bay's beauty from the other day I just ...

... plus the hike was a good workout to boot. It wasn’t an easy hike though, and two people had to be life-flighted off the mountain while we were on it due to becoming unresponsive. It was pretty scary, and I’m praying that they are okay! Although the views were gorgeous, I was glad to get back down after seeing the whole unresponsive people thing happen. I don’t handle medical stuff well, and it was freakin me out! We were back home by eleven, and I ...

We got up at 5:15 am to get in line for tickets to go to the Arizona Monument. We were about 20th in line. When they opened at 7:00, we got tickets on the first boat (8:00). Everything was looking good! As we entered the theatre for the pre-boat video, a ranger told us that boats were NOT going to be running because a dock had collapsed. :( We regrouped quickly and decided to do the other little things we had wanted to do in Honolulu. First ...
