... it's work, work, work, and write, write, write. Whose idea was the PhD thing, anyway?!?!

Meanwhile, I leave you with this cute photo I took the other day at the Tampa Lowry Park Zoo of Zsa-Zsa (mom) and Zuri (7-month old calf).

And if anyone in the USA is bored, I have plenty of (smelly!) samples you can come help me organize and analyze, but please don't all volunteer at once.

    Thank you so much,

The best part was during each deluge - Philip kept saying "this should be the last of the rain". Um. Not! Mike exhausted from teaching napped. Are you sensing a pattern? As we enjoyed great looks at the female, three more joined her all on the same tree. SCORE! We wandered about for a while hearing and finally seeing COMMON NIGHTHAWK, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT a bunch of red-headed woodpeckers and great-crested flycatcher. As the dark clouds began rolling in with distant thunder - we wanted to get eyes on the singing Bachman's ...

    ... the kindness!
We were celebrating until after 1:00 AM! I was completely happy. Nothing in the world could make me happier that night. I slept like a baby after all of the dancing and emotion! I am so thankful to everyone who made my buon voyage special. I just wish I could take all of "my people" with me to Italy- I will miss everyone dreadfully! Although I can't fully express that evening and everything that it meant to me, I think one word sums it up pretty well... BLESSED.

... really feel my legs. By the end I was the only bloke remaining- the two others who started gave up so I at least had some pride left as we were made to dance and shout stuff out by the woman leading the class! After a top up shop I went back to the gym again (I need to counteract the effects of our victory burgers at the pub quizzes!) and watched the footy. The Boss is taking me on a flight tomorrow as he's teaching some of the American pilots in their new plane, ...
