To Parana, Argentina in 26 Hours

I left Jacksonville bound for Houston and Buenos Aires by plane, and eventually to Parana, by bus. From wheels up in Jville to a warm embrace from Maxi (my Argentine exchange brother from high school) it was a total of 26 hours and over 5,000 miles. It was a long but smooth trip and it was worth every minute of it to catch up with him and his family Luli and Franco. (he's a 3 year old tazmanian devil but mostly human Maxi assures me) ...

... it was a 10 year old battery so the fact that it lasted this long, especially with the way we use it, is pretty impressive. Without the battery, we had no radio, fridge or sink power so we had to stay at a campsite for the evening. We found a nice family run place in Yulee and stayed there for the night. Due to unforseen family medical issues we spent a good part of 2014 at Riverfront Campground. I spent most of the weeks here and lori was with me on the weekends. Several of the folks from Alamacontee Campground {allan & Nannette, Ed & Cindy and Gus & Marilynn} and Larry was right down the road at white shell also. Spent a lot of time fishing off of Ed ...

      ... the kindness!
We were celebrating until after 1:00 AM! I was completely happy. Nothing in the world could make me happier that night. I slept like a baby after all of the dancing and emotion! I am so thankful to everyone who made my buon voyage special. I just wish I could take all of "my people" with me to Italy- I will miss everyone dreadfully! Although I can't fully express that evening and everything that it meant to me, I think one word sums it up pretty well... BLESSED.

... prizes though! Unlike the pub we go to for the quiz who gave us another $30 to spend after we came 2nd again and even won the bonus round!! We all ate and had a drink and with our gift voucher and a tip spent $6 each, so we'll be doing the same when we go back tomorrow hoping to win the $50 grand prize. On Wednesday I had another pretty standard day of clinic- I'm getting very good at dealing with colds and sore throats now, but I'm still not used to ...
