... way, we were shocked to see the girls wearing next to nothing for the cool weather, basically dresses with no tights and no jacket. We, on the other hand, were as bundled up as could be. We quickly found our new favorite cafe already booming with the night vibe, and ended up meeting our first host, who had had to cancel. We all dozed a little off and on during the ride back to Stavanger. We were sitting in the very front row of the inside section, and as we approached the dock, the area in front of us immediately filled with a couple dozen very anxious looking people. I nearly punched that stupid smirk right off his face, he knew exactly that we ...

It took a bit of courage building, but I convinced myself to creep towards the edge on my hands and knees. I mean, that's why I came here, right? So, stretched out flat on my stomach, I was able to steal a vertical view down. Awesome!! Since it wasn't quite the busy season yet, the crowd of people ...

... overlooks Lysefjord with I ncredible views. It requires a ferry and bus for a combined cost of 250nok. Again overpriced but the journey is beautiful. The hike up to Preikestolen is about 4km each way, and is a little strenuous, about the same as the hike up the mist trail to the top of vernal falls in Yosemite valley. I decided to scramble up a little higher to the high point of the mountain and was rewarded with some spectacular views. ...
