Two weeks ago, when I told my fellow cyclist Chaz that I was thinking of writing a blog during this little adventure of ours, his reply was (as always with Chaz) rather direct and completely to the point - "good idea, just try and make sure it's not boring ". So here I am, bravely trying not to bore you all with the details of our little adventure …

... context, and highlight how Norway is working to become carbon neutral within twenty years.

There seemed to be a fair amount of national existential angst in the wall panels. Which would be an option if i didn't like the little pins on the map for each entry... We got in to Stavenger at midday and stocked up on lunch before heading out to explore the town. When we did step off the gangway the torrential rain started, and essentially it didn't stop for the next 5 hours. We hopped between shelters: half ...

... Tau Ferry Terminal. This ferry takes us 40 minutes across the water to a small city where buses come every 30 minutes to shuttle people the 20 minutes away to the base of the hike. At the base, we refilled our water and headed out, not knowing much about the hike itself just that we'd be rewarded for our work! The hike up took us just over 2 hours and was much different that I was expecting. It was incredible steep in some placed and very rocky. Many times you were finding the best ...
