After a quick stop at the tourist store, we parted ways to settle in and continue the celebration with our new host families. Happy 400th birthday, Kristianstad!
Saturday started off bittersweet as most of the GSE Team said goodbye to their host families. However, the sun was shining, the weather was warm and there was a moose safari in our future!
After learning a bit about the Markaryd area, the GSE Team and Rotary friends hopped aboard a "train" that took passengers through the Moose and Bison Safari.

... designed this floating dock with an enclosed gazebo, outdoor seating, a grill, and of course a motor to guide us along the lake they live by. We have never seen anything like it! We ended up on the raft for a majority of the night, grilling, eating, singing, laughing, and sharing a couple glasses of wine. It was fabulous!
And the topper to this great day was that it was the first day in about two weeks that it didn't rain! Here's to many more beautiful days in ...
