Tonight's entertainment will be Petzl dvd (from Mont-Bell of course), running a stop and go 5k, and then an elegant dinner of instant noodles with squid seasoning. Yum.

Asahi Brewery, Atsuta shrine, Sakae, and subaru

Here's my update from this weekend.
Saturday we got to tour the Asahi Brewery in Nagoya. Only a 10 minute train ride and 10 minute walk away. They churn out 10 bottles and 20 cans of beer every second. Shame it is ****** beer.
Saturday morning was a trip to Jingumae to see the shrine. Funny that I go to church more in this country than my own. Tons of ...
Day tripping through Inuyama
Started off like any other day. A long walk to Osu Kannon to see the temples and shopping. Quick bite to eat at the Mega-Kabob. Then a hop and skip train ride into Inuyama. Of course we went the wrong way out of the station and got a little lost. We took the long way through town to first get to the shrine. Talk about stairs. Amazing view from the top that pictures cannot do it justice.

Green tea Haagen Dazs and mystery cocktails
Last night, I enjoyed the some East meets West culture. Dinner was a British pub. The menu was very short and very very over priced. A pint of Guiness should never cost $10. Instead, I got the mystery alcohol served on the rocks.
Japanese world series of baseball has been on. Go "Fighters"!

First day of work
Found my way back to work. Remembered my way around the plant and ate a terrific lunch at the cafeteria. Dinner though. That was ichiban mega tasty. Octopus in wasabi sauce, roasted squid, tuna sashimi, pizza, and much much more. Chased it all down with 1L of beer and a pink/purple glass of kyoho like the princess I am.
