... to Cleveland. The one hour flight was fine. Our sweet daughter was there to pick us up at the airport and we chatted our way home.

We calculate that we traveled approximately 18,971 miles over the past two weeks. And right now it feels like it! But the inspiration that has come from visiting with our dedicated brothers and sisters halfway around the world keeps us energized. I look forward to putting some of those summary lessons learned in my final post yet to ...

... destroyed in the earthquake and resulting tsunami just over three years ago. We passed in between Nagano (site of the '98 Winter Olympics) and Tokyo, the capital of Japan before touching down in Nagoya in central Japan. It was nearing 6:00 pm and was overcast. But through the clouds we could see the red ball of the sun heading toward the horizon. Upon landing, we were all asked to stay in our seats due to a medical emergency up in first ...

Today we went off to Nagoya Castle. So far it has been my favorite and not just because the SAKURA ARE RUFFIANLY IN FULL BLOOM but it had a awesome layout and design. We also went to the palace but it had been rebuilt and was all new so it wasn't as good. The we went to a shrine that was deep in a park that was more like a forest. There I saw Miko-sans! Later we found another discount figure store where I went a bit nuts =P

Inter net is being a *****, pic will come tomorrow night.

However when it does open up, it's magnificent. Despite a bit of cloud, you can see the row of mountain ranges off in to the distance. You could also see the last bit of road cut into the side of the mountain as it angled up to the pass. So, despite my flagging power, it was a confidence booster ...

... restaurant we were just eating in, not half an hour ago, had police tape all around the front of the shop. We see the police bring a guy out and we are worried that something awful like a murder has taken place. After a few minutes of discussions between the cops and suspect. They let him go. We were surprised by this as before the cops let him go. They took photos with him and we were sure if he was a celebrity. We also didn't understand how this warranted more than ...
