... hope was lost, a sign that pointed to where I wanted to go! Hoorah! It took another 20 mins, but eventually I came upon the famed garden of Noritake where some of the world's most beautiful porcelain is produced.
To be honest it was quite underwhelming. The garden was pretty, but nothing spectacular. There were some interesting reindeer interpretations around, but I still think it would have been cooler to tie red ...

... and an ancient hair style. Hello ! Hello! He was a famous poet named Takuboku Ishikawa (1885-1912) .He and his family had stayed on the second floor of this shop during1909-1911 when he published his first anthology " Ichiaku no suna--A Handful of Sand" I can feel that Japanese admire their poets and writers so much so that there are a number of poet ...
Inuyama, Chubu, Japan siripatana... fake Christmas tree, but not usually. Christmas Eve in Japan is actually more like Valentine`s Day in America. Its a day to take your girlfriend or boyfriend out for dinner and buy presents for each other. It makes sense. Things are pretty romantic with all the Chrismas lights and light snow (if you`re lucky!!). Anyway, that was a good week checkin out the lights and decorations. The following week was Thanksgiving. It didnt really feel like Thanksgiving though ...
Miwa, Japan nikkimick06... Japanese Tapas. Tuna Sushi and roll, marinated pumpkin, shittake mushrooms, beef on a Hot Plate (cooked by us at our table), tempura... all gorgeous. The other aspect that we love is the sheer volume of vending machines that Japan possesses. More machines than there are sheep in New Zealand! I think that the vending machines are bought from larger vending machines, which in turn are vended from even larger vending machines. A bit like the Borg from Star Trek.
