    ... the roads are narrow? Parts of our trip reminded us of our western treks by motorcycle. Except for the stone fences and the sheep, of course. But the winding roads, the tall pines and the agricultural valleys felt very familiar. We went to Balmoral, the Queen's Scotland estate, and toured the grounds.     ... hill (where I forget to look at the queens summer house) and buy a data sim for the ipad in the hope that I'll have access as not much else works!!! We bus it back to pick up the car and head for St Andrews. What a great town this is, could spend days here. We grab some lunch a quick tour then head out to the golf course.     ... on her side of the family, but it was still a pretty far stretch to have him wear a skirt. So after several calls to kilt stores all over Aberdeen we finally found one who had “morning suits” aka tuxedos available to rent and would take measurements over the phone. Which was wonderful because we didn't have to try to buy a suit somewhere on our trip and carry it with us, but it also meant we had to get his measurements taken in some country along the way.     Wow!

    So turns out, I haven’t written in a while! Who knew??

    So basically, what happened there is that I had paid leave
    from work, spent it cleaning the kitchen and ripping up travel brochures for
    the next leg of my journey. (I had logic to my rippings, I promise). And whilst
    all that was happening, I may have kept thinking that I had more holidays left
    than I did…therefore, I got to my final day of holidays ...
