It was time to start the journey home so we headed across to the airport and checked in before heading to the virgin lounge. We grabbed some dinner and drinks, wrote up the blog and soon enough it was time to board. With the mixture of eating, film watching and sleeping, the 13 hours passed quick enough and we were soon landing in LHR.

... just as well our Spanish classes are at an early stage as we do not understand what the Spanish woman says about Kathleen to her friend.
Its a long 13 hour flight and the last thing you need after that is Terminal 5. Ponce again we get lost and end up out in the domestic terminal.
When we get back to Aberdeen it is cold and there is a light dusting of snow which makes having been away for three weeks feel all the better.
Picked up our Mercedes rental car and off we went. Left Edinburgh heading for Aberdeen with a few detours on the way and a change of plan more than once!!! Think that's all I need to say.
Spent nearly two hours in a cafe with free wifi trying to find somewhere to stay in Aberdeen. Managed to get a room and when we turned up the reservation had not come through ...

To be 100% honest, I don't see how..
But yeah, my night was full of dancing and laughing and (writing this from a couple weeks later) it bloody hurt at work the net morning!
