Good to be Back

A travel blog entry by edellis903 on Jun 29, 2015

Pulled in around 2:30. Glad not to have another extended trip time anytime soon. We had a wonderful trip. Great friends to travel with, would definitely get the Special Ed Posse together again anytime, just not back to Alaska! Statistics are a bit sketchy, but by my feeble calculations, we did the following:

Air Miles 5008
Rail Miles 283
Bus Miles 543
Car Miles 1700
Ship Miles 1240

Total 8774

  • Please excuse the pictures which were taken with one hand while I drove with the other in the ...

... them all. Stupid idea if you ask me. Then they throw away the pictures if you don’t buy them. Really silly, and wasteful.

Enough of that, though. After the picture, we began to walk about the four floors of exhibit space. The first floor houses a theater so we actually began on the second floor. The area around the outer edge of the building has an exhibit of race cars in order from older to newer, all on a mock racing track. As you go up ...
