      ... another fantastic day.

Up early today, Sunday for our 4 hour boat ride down the Li River to Yangzhou, a
gorgeous little village on the Yi River. Spectacular scenery during our 4-hour boat ride made up of meandering bits of the river, farms, rice paddies and some very green surroundings. We saw buffalo, tamed cormorants used by the fisherman to catch fish, bamboo rafts and villagers selling ...

We left and saw a few abandoned buildings and an alleyway with chickens who would be dinner in the next week. ...

... I had timed it perfectly so that it was dark by the time I reached them. The Sun Pagoda is the worlds tallest copper pagoda at 41m high, and is linked to the seven storey Moon Pagoda by an underwater tunnel, although I dont think Ill make it there. After walking around this lake and taking in all the reflections of the lights I moved onto the night market nearby. On my way I walked on a road whose restaurants all had buckets of ...

      ... is interesting.

The air quality here is the worst we have seen. Hazy, grey and overcast. We headed back on the bus to the airport (we were just there a few hours earlier) to get on our flight to Guilin. Tim presented Steven with a book to thank him for doing such an amazing job.
