    The new government has been formed in France and I am sure every French person is captivated by the announcements. Interestingly the Minister of Education is Najat Belkacem, first woman to hold Education and there are 8 woman appointed out of 16 ministers. vive les femmes!!The left has held the majority and it will be business as usual hopefully but I am sure there will be some grumbling ...

    Today we decided to go to Pornic on the Coast but still in the Loir Valley. The decision was made simply by looking at a map and thinking that sounds different. After an hour drive and a nasty traffic "snarl" in Nantes, we arrived in this beautiful city.
