    ... not much better either with a train at 1520 from Nantes arriving at Questembert at 1618, and the next departure at 1620 (although Monday to Thursday only), with a change at Redon arriving at 1820 or 1724 Nantes changing at Redon arriving at 1900, if we had made the journey on a Friday then we could have caught the 1809 direct service from Nantes arriving into Questembert at 1908.

    ... is going to turn and they are planning for it. It is fathered in settling to see them all stuck over the walls of the house so we turned a hose on them to try and deter them, it worked for awhile but some of them returned. Will be keeping the windows closed today.

    ... giant heron rises above us, carrying baskets with passengers. This is a prototype, as is the giant caterpillar for a huge tree which the heron will fly around and is hoped will be completed in 2019 - will be worth a return visit. Really hot today, probably around 30 a bit unexpected for this time of year. Out for aperitif, as you can see david had quite a large beer, then one of the best Greek salads I've had, and a sort of Asian style pork.

    Our first super long train ride of the trip. The ride from Paris to Nantes seemed to take more time than physically possible. Once in Nantes we had a layover before our next train ride and were able to explore a absolutely gorgeous park. You can look at the photos and let your imagination fill in the rest.
