We found a good spot and got settled, relaxed for a bit, the weather was sunny and about 27 and later on we prepared a pasta. Not the type of place a tourist would find being high up in the hills. The view, the company and the food -beyond words. I thought I ate well in Italy but France has been a whole new gastronomic ...

After unpacking, I sat in the garden and listened to some jazz guitar playing from the apartment above. Sweet. We had a wet forage (yup, raining) in the immediate neighbourhood for a takeout dinner and breakfast stuff, then too bagged to do anything else, fell into bed. I dropped off over my book at 7pm. Great sleep - totally quiet here.

It's always a strange feeling to be venturing out into an unfamiliar ...
