... Black Jack luck was definitely not with me in Monaco. But I did see Princess Caroline (after a bit of internet research, I am pretty sure it was her and not Stephanie) at a fancy shopping mall. She was leaving and all her security were precdventing anyone getting close. She then drove off in a silver Porsche...no joke. She looked a bit old and tired. Maybe too much Monaco sun in her life. Anyways, the pictures say it better than i ever could...
Monaco, Monaco travellingross... committed by kids. except using much smaller words. maybe at least they'll think i'm older than i look now?
btws when asked my age i replied, a true lady never reveals her age. my 2 faves in the class laughed at that one. at least someone got my jokes!
and tomorrow?
another day of very early rising to greet the bus, and go to a class that i may or may not actually have.(thanks eve)
looks like i've got my work cut out for me.....
... the most beautiful boats in the world are in MonteCarlo...
Language is more interesting in france. If we try to do the simple tourist things then most people can work out what is going on but when we try something else eg. going to the doctor (sue has been sick) going to a chemist.. or finding a Laundamatt.. then the language thiig is a bit more animated....
have some grat pics of Nice and French Rivierra to show when we get home...
... blue/green shutter doors. i feel all french like whenever we open and close them.
so tomorrow is my first day of school for real. eek. little nervous, its a class of terminal and then the professional school. definite potential for them to be older than me. oh *****, i already look like im 12 haha.
yet another part of this lovely adventure!

Well, I am writing this entry from Switzerland. Sitting at the Geneva airport. My flight from Barcelona to Geneva (to connect onto a flight to Nice) was delayed and then delayed again which meant I missed my connecting flight. Was originally angry about this cause I have lost a day of travel time, but it has given me the opportunity to sort some photos and begin my Monte Carlo relax period. Was fortunate that there was a later flight with seats available and that ...
Monaco, Monaco travellingross... lessons last summer would have lead to us sailing in the Mediterrannean? (Next time it will be on something bigger then a Hobie 14) It was a beautiful day with an acceptable amount of wind. We sailed around large yachts and sailboats who were anchored in the bay with “beautiful” people sunning themselves on them. Truly an experience to treasure.
Eze-A Village with a view and a cactus garden-After sailing we took the hour long drive to the old village of Eze ...

In a few days, Ross and my best friend, Erik is coming to visit us. We are going to go to Monaco (not Morocco) and then travel to Spain to visit Ross' foreign exchange student's family. I won't have my computer, so this is the last entry before I come back home, but don't worry, I'll put up pictures and tell you all about my travels when I have the chance at home. I can't wait to see you all!
... ocean. All of the booths had similar things like scarves, jackets, household items, underwear, etc. I bought a pretty yellow scarf which you can see in the pictures and I also got a knock-off Longchamps purse that EVERYONE has in France for school, but I got mine for 5 euros! That's like 90% off. We had fun walking around the market but we were getting cold and wet after about 2 hours. We decided to try to find a cafe to wait sit and wait for our trains. We couldn't find one ...
Antibes, Provence, France k1thomas... drove off to see the Gorges du Verdon. A 2½ hour drive up through Grasse and on into the Maritime Alpes. Our intention was to get to Sublime Point where we would have lunch and then return. As we went through 3,500 ft above sea level, we did notice a substantial drop in temperature and by the time we reached our destination we did feel the coolness. However the sun did finally come out. It was the only cloudy day we had had since arriving in France. Back in ...
Antibes, France bucksbeachArrived in Antibes and Patrick our exchange was there to meet us. Also assisted in getting the rental returned at Antibes railway station where Avis had their own carpark BUT no office or any sign on what to do with keys etc. Finally discovered through a phone call, "Oh, just leave the keys in the ticket office of the station or with one of the platform attendants....." Would have been easier if we had known in ...
