Starry Place Bangkok

... 5am but couldn't let us in the room then (4.30am) or we would have to pay for the previous night so we went out for a walk. The area seemed lovely and there were lots of people out drinking but it wasn't a bit messy which was strange for that hour - it seemed like it was 9pm and they were out for a quiet drink with their friends just chatting. ... Buddhists today. The best one we heard was the king was visiting today so no tourists were allowed to enter. Cheeky *******s!!!!!!

Bangkok is dirty, very smelly in places and the houses that some people are living in are just terrible, i have taken a picture from our lovely hotel suite over looking the shacks at the bottom- awful!!!

Been great to come here though and see the Palace, it really was beautiful.

Hopefully weather will be nice ...
