... that instead of catching up on sleep. Like clockwork, as soon as I finished the game, it was time for us to head to our only obligation for the day: babysitting! Before I had arrived, Alx & Sarah had agreed to babysit our friend's kid for the night while they went to a high school reunion. It took all three of us, two Disney movies, and a couple episodes of the Little Einsteins, but we did it! The ...

They do red carpets and a lot celebs wear their products. Hrmmmm burst her bubble when I said that I didn't know their product and didn't 'do' celebrities. There was nothing that really stood out for us (except for the first $1,000,000,000 car resto in one of the Souvenir shops!) and Hollywood seemed rather dirty. Good to see and understand what it is like here but we were much happier to get on the bus with Kenny and head to Beverly Hills!

... experience, with the ambitious set creating a scene that you couldn't take your eyes off for a minute. Some of the acting was a bit dubious at times but you can still see why it gains such rave reviews. The day before my 25th birthday had been an unexpected treat. Who would've thought I'd have enjoyed spending it in the company of minions, Simpsons and transformers?

    ... Beach.

So, some 4 hours after landing, we arrive at our house in Huntington Beach and what a place - 4 blocks from the beach, a double bed for everyone, a fire pit outside and a full size pool table in the living area. After some chill time, we head into town for a burger and a drink at 25 degrees - delicious and pretty sensible portions for US standards.

And then to bed for the first time in our 43 hour day!
