        ... We waited in the departure area as usual before boarding our flight. At 10am we boarded our flight and embarked on by far the longest flight I have ever been on. It was just over 12 hours to LA. We were lucky enough to get exit row seats. I would defiantly recommend these, especially if you are tall.         ... sitting next to a grandma and grandson who were travelling in the RV from south america. They told us stories of how they missed being shot at the border in Columbia by rogue policeman.         stark difference in cultures....kiwis know how to give good customer service...and there is no tipping...they are so kind to everyone....sorry LA...if there is a kind soul out there.....he's probably lonely! Wow are people rude!

        Lastly was the outdoor garden. It was fairly small. One could see the entire garden from any spot that was view able. Nonetheless it was a spectacular sight.
