    ... Sforzesco for a brief walk around - it is huge and beautifully built with rounded brick turrets and huge courtyards. We decided not to catch the metro but walk through the city, it is more interesting that way. We then visited the Duomo for an inside look. We took the audio tour, visited the crypt and found a cardinal Alfredo Ildefonso Schuster who was honoured for his contributions. He might be related!     ... lined with bars & restaurants with lights strung across the canal providing an ideal setting. It's only 10.00pm so let's go and have a walk and have a look. As we go past reception, Pipi suggests we take some umbrellas as rain is forcast. He was right, within 5 minutes it is raining but it is still warm and comfortable.     ... it, so they recommended a cafe further along the lakeside. 20 minutes walk later, we were sitting there, drinking our coffees and cokes, and watching the swans and ducks on the lake. A short walk further to the next ferry stop - and the heavens opened again, only this time it was torrential. Once on the ferry we could barely see the shore!
