I think we were on the road before 08:00 this morning. We had a very short uphill section from our overnight stop to rejoin the delightful road which runs over the Cisa pass, and then we were on our way. Again there had been a lot of rain in the night (once more with thunder and lightening) but it had stopped by the time we emerged. From then the day just got better and better and ...

... Milan in the 19th century. It is now home to a series of museums and art collections. We passed through the central courtyard to and wandered through the extensive Parco Sempione, stopping to get up close to some local wildlife. If you have to ask how much something is, then you can't afford it! I don't know how anyone can justify spending so much money on a handbag or pair of shoes, and some of them aren't even that nice!! It is a beautiful shopping arcade though, so if you're going to fork out that sort of dosh, this is the place to do it! ...

... and boats from the olden days.

The next day we took a bus to A.C Milan and Inter Milan's home ground ( Which is San Siro stadium). We went on a tour through the stadium and went to a museum about the stadium. We got to see the teams change rooms and see the actual soccer field that they play on. The next morning we had to wake up at 3:00am in the morning to catch a bus to the airport. Our plane left at 6:30am for ...
