Enroute to Grand Canyon, we made a quick pit-stop at Lake Havasu City, to break the journey and to visit the original London Bridge. The City of London sold the bridge to the founder of Lake Havasu and it was dismantled in the UK and reassembled in the USA brick by brick. We went to an old gold mining town, Oatman, complete with wild burros on the street (they come down from the mtns) and gunfights at high noon. Really hokey but lots of fun.
