... as we got parked 3 more cars came in and parked next to us, then the sky opened up and just DUMPED hail about the size of grapes for about 10 minutes. Fortunately we didn't sustain any damage, but what an experience!

Finally got to the RV park and got settled in for the night. There were still large piles of hail stones all over the park, along with leaves and branches from the trees. What a mess.

Next stop the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Incredible. Almost lost Sally dog as she jumped in for a swim, shayla grabbed her before she headed downstream!! Great day!! On to Custer, South Dakota ...

... the entire wall of the hotel. The soup and salad lunch was all home made and delicious. We then headed to Billings which is a large town that is really very industrial and not terribly pretty, so it was lucky that we were booked into the Happy Pappy Cowboy Cookout for dinner. That was actually a bit of fun. We drove out of town and when we turned off the main road, a couple of gun toting cowboys held up our bus and took us to the campsite ...
