      ... soon realised there were no ill feelings about the Cup!

      In no time at all we had booked two trips - one to view the famous Newport mansions, and later in the day a sunset cruise out into the Atlantic!





      We enjoyed the guided Newport Trolley Tour that took us along the famous ten mile Ocean Drive, and past the many beautiful "Gilded Era" Mansions located on Bellevue Ave.

We then went to the Elms, a large mansion owned by the coal baron that supplied all Vanderbilt's railroads and ships and also for the US Navy.
