    ... to climb the fort. The girls had to drag themselves uphill after receiving some words of encouragement. With grit and with thought of glory, we reached the top of the fort. That spectacular view from the top was heavenly. For a moment, the pain was forgotten, and all the effort seemed worthwhile!

    ... brinjal bhaji, pithale, varan all piping hot along with side dishes of papad, salad, thecha and buttermilk. This was really home made on earthen stove (chool) with peculiar village style and with aroma of smoke. After dinner, we enjoyed a camp fire lit for us.     ... to be registered to come into the town. The huge homes and hotels are built into the mountainside. Down by the lake, the buildings are modeled after Portafino, Italy. Gorgeous area!
