      ... homemade beer which they was selling to us in the bar .
      I acedently ordered the table the wrong drinks .... we ended up with a METRE or largr on the table in stead on a litre .
      next I then ordered a 5 litre TOWER of beer which was delivered to the table and stood approx. ,, 5 foot above the table ..

      That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp! I have officially set foot in Germany. (even if it's just an airport) We have a layover here, I think it's supposed to be three hours. Shouldn't ...

      ... We then helped an elderly Chinese man with the ticket machine after that so we're definitely learning!!! Haha.. Our hotel is 2mins walk from the train station- the train station is AMAZING! So huge and gorgeous shops and market stalls everywhere! Our hotel is beautiful too- huge room and free wifi helps!!!       We walked into town from the Westend, past the large Deutsche Bank skyscrapers. Frankfurt is Germany's New York because it has so many skyscrapers, but that is the only comparison you can draw! Perhaps also because it has a Börse (Stock Exchange) and is a finance centre. It is home to many different corporations including the European Central Bank and the Detusche Bundesbank. The city has more banks than the Nile River!

      Faced with a brutal travel day, we got up early and had coffee with Herr Hocher, the inn owner, in his hotel dining room. He asked if I wanted some schnapps to get the day going. I declined. Probably too hastily.
