    ... 5:30pm. We won't take his words about the 'no dinner' claim anymore. I guess he was angry or frustrated as he planned to go home? He didn't talk much throughout the drive, and simply said '我們今天ࢷ 2;這裡結束× 43;!' as soon as we arrived at the restaurant. We were all mind-****** as we were high up on 2044m height for the dinner! Who's gonna take us back after dinner? That was quite rude ...

    ... were nice and creative with good services. We then hang out for a little more while for in their shops and I immediately sent all postcards, hoping that they could arrive before christmas! We met friends from church and never thought this would happen to us ;) noted that Mr. Hui lied to us about 魯媽媽 wasn't opened for dinner from them made me mad and disappointed on that so called 'recommended driver' of ours. He simply wanted to go home earlier, didn't he? ...

    ... that was pretty much our first day -- getting used to lives in Taichung, eating and going to bed early... hmm... health I hope.

    There were actually 2 things that impressed me about this Hanging Garden of Shangrila's.
    1) They own dogs that walk you home after going out to the shopping mall
    2) It was 冬至 and the hotel prepared riceballs for all of us which made us feel so warm despite the LACK of heater -v-

    rented a scooter for the 100km trip into the mountains to climb taiwan's highest peak, Yushan.

    stopped for a 5km sidetrip to Fenihu...walk around, eat railway lunch box.
    move on to Yushan, get my police permit organized, eat and get to sleep.

    got up early, had a bite to eat and was over to my other hostel early. arrived and they invited me for a huge breakfast that they cooked for the wedding goers. after eating, visited the railway garage, prison tour, ate slushie, fish soup and turkey rice.
