... of rain showers arrived so we used the conservatory as a shelter before walking under the umbrella around the formal gardens. The gardens were extensive and the area included a bird hide and a walk next to the pasture with meadow flowers as the main feature.

... much traffic (either foot or road). We continued our wanderings after the service but the sun had gone in and we were getting a little cold so we headed off for a coffee and a read of the newspapers in Costa.
The temperature was still not improving much, so after a quick walk we headed back to the apartment.
