Down the the M40 motorway, 6 lanes of traffic and our first stop is at Oxford for a coffee and stretch the legs. Guess what, no hassle at the checkout everyone speaks English.

Continue on to Stratford upon Avon, Avon being a river where we have a group photo for the tour and a couples photo as well with Anne Hathaway's cottage in the background.

Daddy was keen on having a swim in the North Sea, although even he chickened out with the cooler weather and sea temperature. Abigail and I enjoyed some time in the sand, although we both absolutely refused to go into the water! We were not that silly!

Another treat was in store for dinner: a traditional English roast at a local carvery. You should ...

... gently past. As I edited photos, Nic read up on things to do. We wandered back along the wall till we stopped off at our lovely hostel. Since our original clean and tidy hostel we have had some hit and miss experiences. The last one in Edinburgh was a total shocker. While we are only there to sleep, it is nice to sleep somewhere clean. We are paying 8extra pounds per night for this place, and it is worth every penny. The hostel we are now in is clean and tidy ...
