      ... in the tunnels as it's pushing so much air... Hit Fribourg station at 5pm peak hour and there's people everywhere. Get picked up and back to Suzanne's flat. Stephane is here too and it's great to talk and rest. Planning to catch up with Gabriel as well tomorrow. Rabbit for dinner... Yum, i think????? Its a new one for me. Rabbit au vin rouge.       ... that had to be eaten; and those cracker biscuits in the pantry were not going to be any good after six weeks; and then that bottle of Semillon Sauvignon Blanc in the fridge was only going to get hot if the power stayed off. So, afternoon tea was served. And enjoyed. Ahh, this is how a holiday should start..... And a bonus - the power came back on with enough time to shower and the jeans are now flinging around ...

      ... and that was so great to be able to take my shoes off and stretch out better than most around me.... Lucky I have short leg syndrome hee hee
      Dubai - 6 hours to kill in the airport. Arriving at 0430am after flying over very different views of desert with very well lite up highways. Ok I thought that it would be easy to fill in time as I had heard how great the shopping was. Not that I actually had 1cm of space anywhere to fit a purchase in but that's next times chance.

      What an amazing city is Dubai. From Old Dubai with its souks (markets), mosques and fort to new Dubai with its Malls, eclectic architecture and high rise, everything is big, big, big.

      We spent a wonderful day on a private tour with Siraj, our guide, we didn't just see Dubai, we learnt so much about its language, population, religion, culture, social mores, politics and history.
      FIrst stop - Dubai Mall. We thought Mall of ...
