Willie and Kath came up for a few day's at half term in October, to catch up with Sid and Debbie and to get a wee rest if that is possible with two small children!! They went on a pumkin hunt at Blenheim but did not tdo the hunt , instead they had a fish and chip picnic in the park, and ran around with the kids all afternoon. Here are a few pic's mailnly of Maisie and Ruan.
Oxford, England, United Kingdom 1073-2... health centre every Monday and we got very friendly with the staff over there.

3. Storage - as we live in shared accomodation we had to think of where to leave our stuff. Our housemates might also hit on an idea of packing their bags and going around the world so dumping our belongings on them would be anything but fair. Fortunately, thanks to Izzie and her attic we'll save a lot on storage.

4. Re-direct ...
Oxford, England, United Kingdom mgarman... not possible. Now, with just 3 months to go it's real, it's tangible, it's there, waiting around the corner.

Many things have happened during those 16 months of waiting. We got married with Michal and as a result of that my surname is far less difficult to pronounce and far easier to spell. Unfortunately, the same doesn't apply to my first name, Malgorzata, which has sadly remained a nightmare. Call me Gosia, please.

Oxford, England, United Kingdom mgarmanDinner last night at The Old School House in Port Isaac was probably one of the best we have experienced this trip. Starters were Smoked Duck then Grilled Scallops, mains were Tiger Prawns in an asian sauce and Whole Grilled Bream stuffed with crab and lobster meat. Desserts were the now obligatory Creme Brulee and Chocalate Pudding. An Australian wine complimented the meal just nicely.

Next morning ...
Tetbury, England, United Kingdom corny15I think I ended up back in Trowbridge at the best time of the year... lol What with Halloween and Guy Fawkes night!!

I was a little exhausted when I got back. I think I was happy to be somewhere where I didn't have to literally live out of my suitcase!

While I was back, I opened a bank account and also applied for my national insurance number so I can work in the UK. It was a fairly short process because I have a British passport! I've applied ...
Trowbridge, England, United Kingdom sares12I know it is amazing... like how did they erect these things 3000 years ago?

I can't tell you anything you already didn't know about this place I'm afraid, except that you get just as close from outside the perimeter fence as you do if you pay the entry fee so why pay?
Stonehenge, England, United Kingdom darrenhough74... to see Gotye in London and then may come back to Swindon to look after Davina's parents farm while they holiday in Spain. If not, London to Glasgow, up to the north of Scotland down to Edinburgh. It is there where I will decide to live in Edinburgh or head back to London. Maybe I'll find somewhere else along the way.. maybe not.. I just wanted to pop in and let you all know I'm alive.. I'll be back when I have something interesting to say..
Swindon, United Kingdom jimbojohnson... how much time I have Vietnam , Laos and Cambodia are all close. In and around Bangkok for 4 weeks mixing in some cultural stuff, two weeks working as a mahout (someone who works with ellies) and a week loafing b4 I then fly to NZ to explore it at my leisure for between 6-8 weeks - fantastic or wot? I am sooo excited! I'm really looking forward to spending Christmas with my family and particularly keen to see ...
Swindon, Wiltshire, United Kingdom sally63howse... player move forward to take the kick. Again gutted for Hugo as his shot fired wide. No shame in the result, unbeaten in the tournament and only beaten by a Ryman League that later went on to the semi-finals. Full Team Hugo Parrott Pete Williams Dan Smith Adam Germaney Sam Morton (Captain) Gavin Alderdice Carlos Ghassoub Sebastien Lechevallier Jock McEwan Stuart Hatcher Betrand Rosier Mike Bellis Ian Meemaduma
Swindon, United Kingdom hodge... its spires, and there are plenty of them to go around.

After touring Oxford, we headed to Stratford via the Cotswolds. We were driving through some of the most picturesque countryside you could imagine. The beautiful rolling hills, and off in the distance, you could see village church towers (square towers) rising up above the trees. It’s not the same as the Alps, but it is very pleasing to view.
