    We were told that there are two counties in England with no Motorway running through any part of it – and Dorset is one of those counties. There are only 2 dual carriageways (four-lane roads) in the county. I think we can verify these statistics, as we spent most of today meandering through Dorset on very little – dare I say- TINY roads!

    ... to find a very quaint country hotel, dating back to the 13th century. The room we are staying in is a little newer than that, dating back to the 1950's. The hotel is very cosy and tidy, with pretty modern furnishings and a beautiful atmosphere and the staff are lovely.
