... s the get-up they have to wear to finals. Some had pink carnations pinned to their lapels, which meant they'd just taken their last final. The women wore black skirts of varying lengths (mostly short) and black nylons. Shoe styles all over the map.
The tour guide was so full of information that we had to go home and lie down. Then we walked determinedly in the wrong direction toward a recommended pub for dinner, only to be straightened out ...

... Should have seen the time it took them to clear a table and reset for the next patrons. One person removed the crockery, wait until another removed the dirty linen, then another replaced the linen, then another reset the table. My god would never get a job in Australia. Once seated - in prime position in front of mini orchestra it was positively delightful and so it should have been at 34 pounds! Definitely a once in a life time thing to do.
... like home. Basically I'm telling everyone I know in high school to come to Oxford!! Our tour guide told us that since each college has its own chapel, there have to be at least 2 organ players in each college. Since not many people play the organ any more that seems like me to be the sure way to get in! Just some advice for those ambitious sms girls! The reception was at Rhodes House where the Rhodes scholars are appointed, Bob Hawke was on the wall in the main dining room, so was Bill Clinton there was Pimms and Champagne on the lawn before hand followed by dinner in the main hall, desert in the drawing room, followed by a dodgy nightclub somewhere in Oxford.
