... above the age of 21, so the fact that we were served wine felt like such an accomplishment and a compliment that we left the waiter at least three dollars on top of the usual tip of 15% of the total amount. We left for Curacao on Thursday, November 14 and were literally putting the luggage into the cab for a 15 minute ride to the airport when we got a text from American Airlines that our flight from Boston to Miami was canceled due to mechanical issues. Doyle immediately got on the phone with them and they were able to get us a flight from Boston to New York, New York to Miami, but we wouldn't be able to fly First Class, which we bought ...

... it has been restored quite a bit. Lots of cannons and rigging. The tour was let by a navy guy it is still run and maintained by the navy.

By the time we were done the day was getting on so just spent some more time wandering the streets looking at the sights. Boston is a very pretty town with lovely parks and harbour.

Our last dinner at 75 Chesnut again for their wine Wednesday very nice. Off to New York tomorrow on the AMTRAC ...

Matt and Jenna took us out to eat at the Fogo de Chao in the Westin Hotel. A Brazilian grille (2 courses: salad bar and 12 meat selections where they keep serving various meats until you say stop). ... the specialty is. Lauren just wants to travel across America eating at the specialty ice cream shops. We may grow fatter, but we would be happy doing it! Besides the really good food, the market also had street performers all over the place. Since people watching is a favorite pass time of mine, I could have spent the entire day there. And the kids got a kick out of visiting Cheers.

All in all, it was a great first day. We do feel like we messed up a bit ...
